Most of these people have already explained it, but just for good measure:
This person has deceived you. They are not trustworthy and "breaking their heart" is not the most important issue here. What IS the issue is honesty.
What should be said is, "You lied about who you are. I don't trust you. Goodbye." End of story. You don't need to spare their feelings, nor do you need to be a jerk. But you do need to give them the reality check they deserve, which is that they lied to you and you don't want to be with a liar, regardless of their gender.
It isn't cruel or heartless to call someone out on being untrue. The more that someone tells them honestly that it is unacceptable, the better they will learn and the better they will be for it.

Obviously if they're really a guy pretending to be a girl they've got a lot of problems, so a "broken heart" wouldn't hurt too bad. Add it on to the pile.
Besides...
She's a DUDE! Get out of there!

Woagh, dude. Does s/he know that YOU know that s/he's a guy?
S/he knows what he's doing, and he's obviously trying to stay with you for as long as he can get away with it. He will understand that someone he's been deceiving will turn away once they find out he's a totally different sex!! Just TELL HIM that you're straight, dude! You have to at least tell him it wasn't cool to lie to you!

You were dating guy that you thought was a girl..................oh man and I thought I everyday problems.
I would knock them out (as in punch his (her) day lights out).............and here you are still thinking of not breaking his (her) heart..............what are you, gay or something............for gods sake man, its a guy, not a girl...................he (she) lied to you about being a girl................and you are senstive about not breaking his (her) heart, I say if thats how you feel about him then go get a same sex marriage licence and be married. OR break up..........honestly.......you couldnt tell all the time you both were together...........when you kissed, made out, sex, or was it that you are gay or maybe you liked it and still like it and just trying to justify your own actions ..................oh man this is toooooo funny..........all the best man..........

Total honesty! Even though they weren't upfront about their gender you should be totally honest about your feelings. No need to explain yourself in detail... just make it short and sweet.
