I absoloutely believe the Bible is the Word of God, I just don't think any of us are smart enough to understand it.

YES!
BUT...
I think that the true word of God is perfect. (That makes sense, right? If God is perfect than God's word would be perfect.) However, God isn't here so God's word has to be trusted to human hands. Humans are not perfect. (That makes sense. The bible shows humans lack of perfection all throughout the old and new testament.) When God hands His word down for humans to write it becomes tainted and no longer perfect. We can't help it. Unless we are perfect it is impossible for us to continue to keep something perfect.
As for 200 versions of the bible. 1 Hebrew or Arabic word may have 3 different meanings. It is important to have more than one version so those versions are understood. (Which is the right one? Well, I personally do not like King James. It was written in a language we do not speak anymore and interpreted by people who did not understand the language they were translating. )
All versions are true and wrong at the same time. (Even the version I don't particularly like.) Find the one that is the easiest to read and ask ministers questions about the translation.

I don't like to change what I think the Bible is to me, by changing the words I use to describe it. Lest I get someone who wants to call it,
" inerrant. "
I think that the Bible is the " inspired " word of God. I think that it is the best source for finding out key things about the truth.
Another category of Biblical truth is which version to read it from. Read the pros and cons and make up your own mind about that.
Don't let anyone tell you that one is so superior to the other. That all depends on where you look. One Bible will be more accurate in one verse, but loose it in another. The New King James Version is one of the popular modern versions. It has issues, but all in all, you should get the idea from it that Jesus is Lord and there's no way into heaven except by Him.
I think that all the versions that I have seen, have that in there.

I think you can't be classified as Christian without believing the Bible is the true wods of God. If by different versions you mean King James, New International, etc..., then it's just a difference in how the translators of those respective versions translated the texts (for example, the King James Version translates John 3:16 as "His only begotten Son", while the New International Version translates the verse as "His one and only Son". So there isn't exactly a "right" version because they all teach the same message, that Christ died for your sins on the cross.

I wish I could place it in a 200 size font: A YES
But you said it, so many books called the bible, that is why I never referred it as the bible, I say the Word of GOD Jehovah.
So the Word of God is the true one, why I believe in it, because what is happening around is giving testimony of it.
Don't take my word of it, find out for yourself.
