Don't have a grandson but I have a daughter who I try to occupy with Word or Disney.com. She likes the mouse best though.

Depends how old he is. If he's old enough to get a job he can buy his own computer and stop taking advantage of his grandparents! If he's younger than that but old enough to know better he could be constructively occupied - isn't there a lawn that needs mowing? Dishes that need washing? If he's too little to know better you should tickle him until he pees his pants.

Tell him firmly that it is not a toy and that if he is good and does as he is told, you will spend some time showing him how to use the net and that if he is not, he won't be allowed near the computer.

I don't have grandchildren but I have children. They like to play on pbskids.org They have alot of teaching games. Also they like neave.com it has the old atari games. Fun fun.
