Have a couple of kids and a family that you are trying to protect, then ask that question again.
Of course "we"...as in ADULTS, know that children, and yes you are a child, like to play that they are grown and they don't understand that the world isn't as safe and harmless as what they think it is..so we try with all our hearts to teach them right from wrong.
Unfortunatly, there are a lot of little smart mouthed brats think "mom is wrong and i'm right". Until something bad happens then it's a different story.
You'll wise up one day.

mums know best thats why when mum says were all suppose to do it you only have one mum so respect her she turns out to be your best friend in the end and one day you will relise this

They means the people, the society, etc. They say this to make you realise that you live in a civilized world and other people and their opinions about you do matter to your parents.

no one. alot of times mom's say that to make a point.
I wouldnt take it personaly.cause my mom uses to say
the samething to me. so I just learned to roll my eyes
