What about Blackpool. Nice beach and plenty of ammusements to keep the kids entertained. Your money will go a fair bit too.

Kids love theme parks too - so why not consider Alton Towers?

It depends on the ages of your kids and what they enjoy doing. If they are teens or thrill-seekers, Blackpool is a good choice as there is Pleasure Beach but also the night life is lively enough (Alton Towers is great too but a bit more expensive-- at least in Blackpool, you only pay for the rides you go on). If your kids are younger and happier with just playing with a bucket and spade, what about a week at Loch Lomond or Brighton? Or if your kids are into culture/shopping, Edinburgh or London are also great choices and you can cut costs if you stay in a bed and breakfast or trava lodge.

Anywhere in the Loch Ness area, The Great Glen Water Park is great for children as there are all sorts of activities going on. You can actually hire a self-drive cruiser from Caley Cruisers, we've done it twicw and it makes for a superb holiday. You begin your trip at Inverness and can cruise along Loch Ness, Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and The Caledonian Canal as far as Fort William.

I would go to Las Vegas it's a huge city with plenty to do and kids love it too!!!if you have kids stay at Mandalay Bay they have wavepools and lazy rivers and much more for kids. But if you don't have any kids stay at the Belliago it's a great expensive hotel with lots for parents.I would also reccomend the hummer H1 off road adventure it's a big thrill. Also visit the M&M factory they have a huge arcade, a 5 story rock climbing wall and more.If your looking for a really cool show see the blue man group its an awsome show with a lot of thrills.

It's not a long question and yet people still answer incorrectly....sheesh. More info would help. Where do you live? How much do you have? How long will you go for? What do your children like to do?
Don't go to Legoland, I think it's rubbish. The south west of England is lovely, with good weather.

How old are your children? What do they like doing?

You need things to do if it rains as well as if it is fine. How much money can you spend?

Northumberland has great beaches and if it rains a trip in Newcastle would be good as the museums there are mostly free. the Discovery is good for children.

See islands around the coast. Many to choose from. Isle of Wight is not too difficult and you'll feel away.
