Implants are a science that not every Dentist can do properly. Before you get implants you need to do your research. A Prosthodontist is usually where to begin your search. This type of Doctor specializes in replacement of teeth. A doctor who does this primarily as part of their practice is more apt to give you a more successful procedure.

I have implants 8 on top and 6 on the bottom with an entire prosthesis bridge unit that screws onto my implant posts. Every implant was successful. I have the best Doctors in the US in my opinion. My Doctors are also teachers of continuing education and the originators of the procedure called "Teeth in a Day" They have now reached a 100% success rate of all patients who come to them.

Success of implants also depend on the cleanliness of how the person keep their mouth. The Doctor does their part then it is up to the patient to do theirs just like with real teeth.

I have a good friend who went to just a dentist who said he did implants. This man shattered her jaw and now she cannot get implants.

This is why one should never shop around for price like one would if they were say buying a car.
