Jesus is the visible tangible image of God. He is the complete revelation of what God is like. To know Jesus is to know God.

Without reading my bible i will answer and see how close I get. For the only way into the kingdom of heaven to see God is through Jesus Christ. We have to believe that he died for our sins, as a perfect man, on the cross. Accept his forgiveness that we seek and vow to do our best to live our lives for Him and not sin again. But of course we are all human and humans make mistakes or sin, so we ask for forgiveness. None can come to the Father except through me.

How we see God?
The way we see and react with others. If we see God as creating us in His image, we will value the life of one another. If we perceive God as judgmental and always angry, we will reflect a critical heart. If we know and perceive God as love, we will reflect His love to those around us. The greatest disease of mankind is the absence of love.

18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Cor. 3:18, NIV).

14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you (1 Pet. 4:14,

Seen God Today
It seems strange that the people appeared to see the glory of God more in the OT than we do today. Peter spoke the words of the prophet Joel. He said that God would give the Spirit to all who called on his name. The young people of God would prophesy and see visions. The old men and women would dream dreams. Then he spoke about the glory of God in the heavens and on earth (Acts. 2:17–21).

God shows his glory today, but Christians need to put on spiritual eyes to see it. The Holy Spirit living in us gives us faith to see God’s glory in others. The Church of Jesus Christ remains a spiritual Church today. The God of Truth helps us understand that the Spirit works within the spiritual domain of redeemed children.

So without the Holy Spirit, you cannot see God, and without God, you cannot have love.

If you think the only way to see God is by looking in the bible Wayne you are going to miss most of Her/Him.

Look around you. If what your are seeing is not of God then where did it come from. God did not simply create the universe you see arund you, God is the universe.

Love and blessing Dear friend.

We will not ever see God here on earth. The Bible tells us if any man says he has seen God he is a liar. No man will see God until we reach heaven. We can see the spirit of God all around us. We see evidence of God everywhere.

This does not that Jesus Christ and God the Father are one being it means they are one in purpose. They have the same goals, their teaching are the same with no variation and they look the same with no variation. Mathew 5:8 says Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Jesus Christ was not speaking to himself after he was baptized. Nor does he pray to Himself in the garden of Gethsemane.

You have to attain the highest levels of Paradise. And when you do, then Allah tells us that we will be able to see Him, and no one will have to jostle to see him, He will be as clear (in sight) as the full moon. We just have to be mindful of our Dawn prayer as well as our afternoon prayers (Fajr and 'Asr.)
