Think of it like a response to a bad thing.
He doesn't actually get 'angry' just realizes that it is wrong and does what he can to help.

Big question!
Uh... firstly I'd disagree that the only people who get angry are those who lack love. I mean, I love a lot of people, but still get angry with them sometimes (and they get angry with me too sometimes).
Secondly, the Christian God's identity as a 'God' would mean that he is not technically a 'person' and therefor, there's a chance that human psychology would not apply.
Finally, there is also a chance that the whole concept is a myth, or at least partially. Religious beliefs are no problem and can actually be a good aspect in people's lives, however, religion gives no one person superiority over another. More important questions revolve around our life while we are here and how we ought to live.

Love is not sinful. Love is not accepting sin.
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
God is God and He knows best all the time!
All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Christ and Satan regarding the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict originated in heaven when a created being, endowed with freedom of choice, in self-exaltation became Satan, God's adversary, and led into rebellion a portion of the angels. He introduced the spirit of rebellion into this world when he led Adam and Eve into sin. This human sin resulted in the distortion of the image of God in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation at the time of the worldwide flood. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the God of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist His people in this controversy, Christ sends the Holy Spirit and the loyal angels to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation. (Rev. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Eze. 28:12-18; Gen. 3; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:12-21; 8:19-22; Gen. 6-8; 2 Peter 3:6; 1 Cor. 4:9; Heb. 1:14.)

It's not true that only a person who lacks love gets angry. As a matter of fact the only people that can make me angry are the people I love the most because what they do and how they treat me is important. A stranger can't upset me cuz I don't care what they do and think about me. We've God's children and when you have children you have certain expectations of them and when they don't meet your expectations even us as people get angry with our children. Therefore, why should God be different...do you want your children to be f--- ups?

Where do you get the idea that if you get angry, then you lack love. Thats not in the bible that I know of. I would like think that I'm loving, but I do still get upset. I fight being angry at different times, because in the end, most of the situations are not worth it. The Lord is righteous in ALL things...including his anger and wrath. The Lord is light, and in him there is no darkness. The bottom line is, the Lord can not tolerate sin. Thankfully, Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, became sin on our behalf.

In the bible it says he is a jealous God, not an angry one. And what does lacking love have to do with being angry? So when your dad is angry that you did something wrong, he has lack of love for you???? That doesn't make any sense,,, try again.

Your premise that "only a person who lacks love gets angry" is flawed, to begin with. Who said that? Anger and Love are not mutually exclusive.
Also, your other premise that "He has no ego" isn't entirely true, either. He is recorded as being a jealous God, therefore He does not want us worshiping other God's (see 1st Commandment).

That's a false statement. Anger is not the result of a lack of love. Anger results when a person is violated, either their beliefs, or their authority or their emotions. There is such a thing as righteous anger. Anger that is rightly motivated, like what Satan the devil did to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, that should make us angry and in opposition to the devil.
Hate is the opposite of love. There are things that we need to hate. We hate the devil and the things he promotes. We hate the things that God hates.
Everybody hates, just not everybody hates at the right time or the right things, since we are not perfect. God is perfect in his Anger and Hate just as he is perfect in his love.
It is not logical to think that God can only ever love since not everything is worthy of love. Murder is not worthy of love, you should not love death, torture, mutilation, etc.
If you are going to attempt a logical argument of this nature, think it all the way through.

Here let me quote you some verses. Rev. 3:19-As many as I love, I rebuke, and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent. 1 Corthians 11:32- But when we are judged , we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemmened with the world.
Here is a long scripture.
Hebrews 12:5-8- And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of Him:
VS. 6- For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.
Vs. 7- If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with His sons: for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not.
Vs. 8- But if ye be without chastisment, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards and not sons.
That is just some of the scriptures on God chastising his children. This means if you as a mother or father do not correct your kid when they do wrong then what good are you. Its because you love them that you do correct them. Same with God in these scriptures.

You can get angry at someone and still love them. I get angry with my family members from time to time and it does not mean I love them any less. I get angry at them sometimes if I see they are headed for disaster that could be avoided or when they know and were taught better.

God never said anywhere that he would be offended by our sin.....God is all loving and kind but He has laws and we must obey them and if we choose to be rebellious to His teachings and reject Him then he has to judge one according to His laws and the penalty of breaking the laws of god......
just like in this world if we break the law we have to go to jail to pay for our crime we committed...sometimes that punishment is death...like in some murder cases ....but God loves us so much that he gave His son so that we may have eternal life and forgiveness of our sin if we are faithful to confess our sin....He did His part for us now all we have to do is our part and I don't think that is too much to ask....after all I cant live a perfect life...I will surely fall short ..I do daily ..so without a Savior I would be doomed for all eternity...so that is why I'm so grateful for Gods Grace and Mercy He is and has extended to this world......Thank you Jesus!
