Probably a English muffin and grape jelly, but I would definitely prefer the bagel with cream cheese.

An English muffin has fewer calories than a bagel and the portion size is much healthier than that of a normal store bought bagel (ie, for most bagels the serving size is half, while for english muffins it is the whole muffin). As for cream cheese or grape jelly, its really a toss up. The jelly will have fewer calories and less fat, but the cream cheese has more protein and calcium, much less sugar and generally better nutritional content than the jelly. If you are looking for staying power, I would say the cream cheese would far outlast the jelly.

One has to ask what you mean by 'healthier'?
I would have said that a bagel was lighter than an [English] muffin - at least the way we make them here, in the UK, so a bagel would have less carb per spreadable area.
Now come on ... you need the protein and calcium from cream cheese and you need the sugars and vitamins from grape jelly.
I would go with bagels, cream cheese and jelly (no butter - though you need a little of that kind of fat as well).
Eat as you exercise ... in other words, the more physical it gets, the more calories you need but you also need something of all kinds ... fast release (jelly), continuous slow release (starches and fats) and protein ... PLUS all your vitamins and minerals.
And ... and ... and ... WATER!
The real answer is: make your own bread (in a bread maker), make your own jelly (jam, in the UK) and know what goes into them. It's not so possible to make your own cream cheese, these days - you need unpasteurised milk.

between a Bagel and English Muffin...i don't really know but i do know that a Bagel is WAY better than a English Muffin ...i HATE those!
Between cream cheese or gape jelly...i would have to say that the jelly is healthier ...but that's my opinion
but i would eat a bagel with cream cheese or without cream cheese if it already has a lot of flavoring in it!

Depends on what is in the bagel (fruit, nuts or plain) and if the English muffin is wheat or white. Wheat breads are always best, and bagels containing fruits or nuts are better than plain bagels. Cream cheese is a dairy food, so it is good for you but is higher in fat than jelly. So there is no easy answer to this question. I would probably say the best thing is to eat a variety of foods.

It's a draw on the bagel & english muffin, unless you are getting one that's made of whole grains. They're both made from white flour, so six of one, half dozen of the other.
As far as the cream cheese/grape jelly debate, I'd probably go for cream cheese, especially if it's low fat. Cream cheese at least, has protein. Grape jelly has nothing but sugar.

Being that the normal bagel is actually about 2.5 servings of bread, and most people pile the cream cheese on pretty thinck, I'd go with the English muffin and the jelly. Light jelly.
I always get a kick out of the little note on philedephia cream cheese. It says 1/3 the fat of butter! But I don't slather my butter on 1/2 and inch thick!
