all of these "proofs" are unfounded. they attempt to use science in vauge ways to show that god is real. they say "have you ever seen a radio wave? no but u believe in it" We have seen them with infrared scanners.

If someone wants to find God, then they should make a God scanner. dont know how to do it? figure it out. thats where science helps. im sure the first infrared scanner wasnt made by someone who knew how to make it from the start.

Im not saying he doesnt exist, im only saying that there needs to be proof. saying that a house has an owner is irrelevant. we know that people build houses..we dont know that God builds universes

The bible is STORIES, written by man and for man. So what if theyre consistent and have been since the beginning. Im sure if a thousand years from now someone reprints a harry potter book, itll be the same too. Who knows, the bible could have very well been a fiction piece in ancient times, like aesops fables. we take it as religion though

Just as people are asking for direct proof in God's existence, Religious fanatics are requiring proof in his non-existence. They place so much faith into God that a great number of them reject science. I can understand the unproven stuff, but how do you take the bible's word that the earth is 12000 years old when it has been proven to be 4 billion years old?

Also, who believes that a guy put 2 of every animal on a boat and they didnt eat each other after 40 days and 40 nights, and either they didnt need to eat or they each had their own food bag labeled, alligator food? and every animal was able to reproduce and repopulate the world again afterwards. sounds about as far fetched as shooting magic out of my a.s.s

So...do I take it that you WANT to believe that you "evolved" from some ooze that came from it raining on a rock for katrillions of years (and where did the rock and rain come from - the big bang? What made the big bang if there was nothing there? And a speck of dust the size of a molecule exploded and produced the entire universe?) and you slowly evolved from a fish or ape to become as "brilliant" as you are now? You haven't given us any "hard evidence" that God doesn't exist! Wouldn't you rather believe that you were created by a sovereign God that knew you before you were born and set the world into motion and breathed life into man and said "It is good"?! Evolution takes alot more faith than creation and believing in your great grandaddy ape takes more guts than believing in Adam and Eve I must admit, but WHY in the world would you WANT to believe that? Since you obviously must not yet believe there is a God - I take it that you think that the amazing things in creation are just accidents?!
Symbiotic relatonships, curculatory systems - even sponges and the amazing way they get food and digest their food and distribute it evenly throughout their bodies with amoebocytes!!! Goodness! There are just SO many things if only you'd look! If you feel that there is no God, I am immensely sorry for you - but I hope you research for yourself!

In the Old Testament there were over 300 prophesies written about Jesus Christ. Many of which a person would not have control over, like when and how they were born and when and how they would die. The mathematical odds of Jesus fulfilling just 8, count 'em EIGHT prophesies are the same odds as filling the state of Texas 3 feet deep with silver dollars. Now at random reach in and pull out ONE SPECIFIC silver dollar. Keep in mind that is the same odds of Jesus fulfilling just 8 prophesies. He fulfilled all 300! I would really recommend a small book called 301 Startling Proofs & Prophecies by Peter LaLonde. Read that book and then tell me there can not be a God. If you want hard eveidence I will be more than happy to help you find other recourses. The book I mentioned is available at Amazon.com

Why are you asking this question if you already *supposedly* know the answer?? If you really want to know whether God exists and you want to prove it, go buy a book that argues for God's existence, or go to a website; I'm sure you'll find many. Check out both sides of the answer, and see if you agree with it or not.
As for my answer to your question- who created you? Who created this world? And don't give me that "evolution" crap. It is all THEORY, and it has never been proven. Same for the Big Bang. And- in the interests of being fair- yes, creation is a theory, too, but the facts that we have support creation more than it does evolution. Again, check out sources for yourself and don't waste time on Yahoo! questions.

Yeh your right, everyones answer is BS. The truth is there IS no hard evidence, so youre right again. I just dont see why everyone goes with this - its blind faith. Christians seem to think fair trials are right, but i do feel theyre being a bit hipocritical because in court evidence is used to decide whether the person is guilty or innocent, so they rely on evidence there, but they obviously dont for their own religion?

Sorry to burst your bubble of ignorance but the burden of proof is on YOU to prove that god exists.
For example, If I were to say that I had a magic orange squirrel in my backyard that eats glass and coughs up diamonds, would you believe me? No, of course not, only the profoundly stupid or the mentally retarded would take that ridiculous statement as fact.
You'd want proof. You'd at least want some evidence.
Same thing goes for your magic sky-pixie. I want proof, I want evidence.
If you manage to provide some, you'll be the first christian in history to do so.

A wise man once said,"Just because you don't see the stars during the day, doesn't mean they don't exist." Faith is a mystery. You are not going to be convinced by any amount of evidence if you don't have faith--faith is believing in the absence
of evidence. I don't think science can unravel all the mysteries of this universe---especially in the eyes of a skeptic. And that is a grand thing!

I can't prove what is in my heart. I have a better challenge....prove He doesn't! I know, it's not my question to ask here. But after going through some of the things in my life that I have, if I didn't believe in God, I don't think I would have pulled through. I believe he had his hands on my shoulders, guiding me in the right direction.

1) Plug the wire of a TV into the socket. Dont switch it ON. leave it as it is.
My question to you, if no body switches it ON, can it switch ON by itself?

2) You are lost in a forest, there you see a house in the middle of the forest. you are certain that this house has been built by someone. you may not know who he is but you are dead sure that the house has a owner. WHY?

3)You dont see Infra-Red radiations, yet you believe its existence. you dont see the waves that are meitted while we talk, yet you can feel it. you have not seen a single galaxy yet you believe the presence of millions of galaxies. WHY?

4) You were not present when an Apple fell over Newton. And he discovered Gravity. yet you believe Newton discovered 'Gravity'. have you seen it? Yet you believe in the phenomenon called 'Gravity'.

5) Nobody knows where is the exact location of 'Mind' and the 'Soul' in the human body, yet millions accept its prescence.

If you can affirm all these without seeing them, Can not the whole of the universe be built by ALmighty GOD???

The house in the forest has to have an owner, The Gigantic universe running in precise equilibrium, without an Owner?

GOD exists and HE is only ONE

You cant have your own laws. If you buy a TV. Dont you refer to the instruction manual for the TV? Or you just mess it up as you like it since you OWN it?

The body which we have is not ours. Its a ctually a gift of ALmighty GOD which we have to use it as per his guidelines.

All the rules and Laws made by Man are subject to fail as Man doesnt know whats in store for him in the future. So Bow yourself to The will of GOD... In other words Submit your will to Almighty GOD. Enter Islam which means "Peace acquired by submitting your will to ALmighty GOD (ALLAH)"

You are right. God is no-thing. But God is everything at the same time. Where did you come from? And if you say your parents made you, thats a lie because they had no idea what you would turn out like. They didnt even know if you would be a boy or a girl. You came from creation, you came from nothing. And since God is nothing, you came from God. God is nothing, creation and destruction, all in one.

You will never find "hard evidence" sufficient to answer this question. Ever.

That leaves you like the rest of us - guessing.
Ask yourself this instead - if there were a god and he admonished you to torture puppies - would you follow him just because he's god?

If not..... then make up your own mind whats right and whats wrong and stop seeking a god to approve it.
