I am embarresed to say that I had not been routing too strongly for him before that interview. Sorrry Floyd. Now after learning a little about him, I think that like Lance he is a true super hero, and an athlete we could all look to for inspiration.

After watching his performance today, I am completely energized. What a bold move! I could not believe he had the stamina to do what he did today after cracking on Wednesday during stage 16. He has now repositioned himself to win the Tour. Unbelievable! I totally counted him out yesterday. As long as he can avoid any mistakes tomorrow and in the time trial on Saturday, I'm confident he will win. Amazing! I really can't adequately describe what I witnessed today. Hurray, Floyd!

Did not see the interview, but have seen bits and pieces of it on OLN. No, he's no Lance. But, who is? Actually, with the revelations that his hip is in such bad shape and the necessary surgery (hip replacement) will most likely signal the end of his career, I think Floyd's story is perhaps more compelling. I think it certainly makes a case that the preformance on stage 17 was perhaps one of the greatest comebacks in sports history.

If that's over the top, at least it was as compelling if not more so than Lance's time trail last year up Le Alp de Huez - which I consider one of the greatest events I've ever watched.

I was a bit disappointed. I seems like such a quailty guy and was a true unsung hero when he rode with Lance.

He's on his way to win stage 17!

He said he won't go without a fight and he's clawing his way back. He has to get enough time to make a managable deficit which he can overcome in the time trial.

He's a fighter and left everone in the dust to make up for his bad day. He will probably win the time trial and be the 8th win in a row for U.S.A.
