After 9/11 people became interested to know about Islam honestly to protect them selves from what is called Muslim terrorists. However, they found the true religion doesn't teach hate nor terror, and found it to be the true religion and accept it and one of those people and more happen to be a Texan preacher. check this web and u will know his story.

depends on what the figures where for the last year? maybe there were less to join that year? whats wrong with accepting islam? the thing with every religion is there are always ones to interpret the teachings in a different way and act accordingly. look at the way people interpret the bible. just the same as the way governments bend the statistics in their favour to support speed cameras. (wow islam to speed cameras...lol) anyway my point is everyone focuses on the bad side of islam, without recognising the good and inner peace it can bring (much like god). if you ram it down someones throat long enough they will start to believe what you tell them. (just look at the workings of the church of scientology).

CNN and BBC and CBS and the like are all anti-Christian and anti-jews. According to them Islam is the fast growing religion in the world today, fascinating isn't it? However according to the Christian Sentinel and other Christian watchdog, The convertions to christianity is umprecedented. In one day alone 5 muslim convert to Christianity not by force, but when they started to read the Bible, read some of the testimony of those muslim who converted to Christianity, they cannot be accounted for, because they are hiding from their former religion, who seek to destroy them.

If that's true it may be because so many Muslim leaders came out openly to condemn the terrorists, which gave them the opportunity to attract positive attention to their faith.
In America many Muslims are African Americans, and Islam has been a steadily growing movement in that population for many years.

how many people converted to and from any religion since that time? who were those people? statistics in a vacuum are useless.
