I believe that whatever cause us unhappiness or sorrow are meant to teach us lessons in life. So, when we finally learn the lessons we are to learn, we get to be proud of ourselves and ultimately be happier because we get to understand the reasons behind our sorrows. Besides, we can only appreciate the joys in our lives if we have experienced sorrows along the way. There will be no sense and purpose to it all if we are only to be happy through this road called life. :)

Well the truth that most people don't see is the fact that joy and sorrow are forever entwined. We must suffer to know joy. We judge our happiness by comparing it to our sorrows and vice versa. So ultimately every sorrow is part of the joy you have known and every joy is part sorrow.

Your joy is your sorrow unmasked??? Good one.
Maybe it means what makes you happy is the same thing that brings sorrow to your life but you just haven't realized it yet.

Thinking that your joy will only last as long as that point of time it happens. Once realizing that the joy will not last forever than the mask is taken away leaving the truth. You must enjoy it while it last because it will not last forever.
