I have never been extended credit or applied for credit. My credit report reflects unpaid phone bills, unpaid utility bills, state tax debt - all over 9 years old. i should just pay the minimal balances. but even if i do, it does not change the catagory that I have fallen into of DOESNT EVEN PAY HOUSEHOLD OVERHEAD TO GET BY IN LIFE. A FINANCIAL REP FROM AN AUTO DEALER TOLD ME THAT IS WORSE THAN BAD CREDIT. - I did not bankrupt your friend my dear....

My credit isn't perfect, but wasn't horrible either, but I still managed to get a car through a loan with Capital One Auto Finance.
You might try visiting a dealer that works with people that have less than perfect credit, but beware the interest rates will be higher.

Don't go to a major car dealership. Just look for the signs at mostly the small dealerships that say we finance anyone. In the meantime, you should pull your credit report and start paying back some of the debt you owe to fix it. If it is not likely that you can fix it, file bankruptcy and you will soon be getting credit cards and rebuild it that way. You have to have credit in life... good credit. So try to repair it.

Walk or bum rides for a month & save $1000.00 and buy a car. That is the best plan of action. Obviously you have a habit of not paying your bills, so maybe you should start living within your means. That means paying cash. If you have to finance you can't afford it. If you choose to finance it when you can pay cash you are an idiot. So suffer for a month and save enough to buy a cheap car instead of suffering every day to drive a car you can't afford.

It sounds like you've obviously screwed some people with loans. If you have horrible credit, you don't deserve another loan. Buy a cheap car cash (that's what you deserve to drive), pay the rest of your bills on time, and maybe soon you'll be worthy. You only get what you deserve, credit criminals don't deserve to drive nice cars.

sure there is a car lot in my town that is set up mainly for people with bad credit and they have nice automobiles, basically anything that you would want. although they want a big down payment on them and the monthly payments are high also. i don't know where you live but this is located in lee county, GA. the car lot is called FREEWAY AUTO-CREDIT. but these types of places are just about everywhere now days , but if you are close to the area and want to get in touch with them click on my name and it will take you to my profile where you then click on contact me and you can send me a email and i will get you the info.

It is people like you that bankrupted my best friend. He was willing to extend credit to people with problems... The more cars he sold, the more money he needed to borrow to buy more cars to sell... and people like you would promise the moon... they'd tell stories about how hard their life was... how they were turning things around... how they needed a car to get to work to feed their families...
My friend would believe these people... he would buy cars to sell to people like you... And those people would thank him profusely... but when it came time to make the payments, all they had were excuses... "I lost my job again.. " "My baby is sick" "I had to buy a new TV.. " "I have to pay my rent" ... They had every story in the book to get my friend to agree to finance a car for them... and when it came time to pay, they would hide from him... Then they'd just move... they'd take their car, and move away leaving no forwarding address... no new phone number (as if calling a deadbeat who moved away in the dark of night is going to do any good)... they'd just sign the paperwork, and steal a car from my friend. He lost hundreds of thousands of dollars being nice to people like you...
My advice... Quit drinking. Quit smoking pot. Quit smoking crack. Quit snorting meth. Quit finding excuses. Quit telling lies.
Get off your azz and get a job. If it's too far to walk to work, buy a damned bicycle, or move closer to work.

You could do a buy here pay here. Here in RI there are a few places. They guarantee a car. You pay weekly up to 100.00. But with these places if you miss a payment Or drop insurance they will take it.

Save up the cash. Don't finance. Have a relative loan you the money if possible.
Or, steal a car.
