If you go to the weddinging channel website it will give you a list of songs that you can use for different things at a wedding. It was very helpful to me when I was planning my wedding.

We got married in the Dom. republic. I walked down the aisle to "All I want is You" by U2 which I chose as I really think is a cool song and the words mean so much if you listen to them. You will get it off U2's greatest hits. Another song we played during our wedding video was "Still the one" by Shania Twain. Sorry don't know the name of the album it is off of, but here is some of the words
" Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
Might have took the long way
I knew we'd get there some day
They said, I bet, they'll never make it
But just look at us holding on
Still together, still going strong"

Good luck on your song choice, you'll know it when you hear it.

I just can't think of the song but it goes "It's been a long time coming" and I think the band is something like Emotion? I wanted it for my wedding but the DJ had no idea what I was talking about!

Getting hitched meself in a couple of months, we (well I) picked Bon Jovi, You had Me from Hello (Bounce album), its got beautiful lyrics and is good for a kinda slow dance but if you want to be really different, one of my friends says he wants Smack My ***** Up by the Prodigy if he gets married, no prizes for guessing that he's still single!!

why worry about uncommon. It's going to be your first dance as man & wife, and it should be song that means something to you both.
