Reparations? I say not for anyone. People need to live in the now and stop blaming everyone for their poor quality of life. I have many close friends in most races and classes and I am not a raciest but I get tired of the victim mentality. Everyone in the US has opportunity to a good life. I will not say that there is not racist here but they do not have the power to ruin anyone chance for success. I am of Irish decent and my forefathers were also slaves but I do not blame anyone for what was done 200 years ago. Kanye and all other people with victim syndrome need to get a life and quit feeling sorry for themselves.

The "black community" (since they obviously want to be separated from others) need less Kanye Wests and Jesse Jacksons. They need more Martin Luther King Jr.'s...... or maybe even Bill Cosby's.

Kanye West is a mass of collective stereotypes for blacks. He, being famous, is a type of representative for many black people. He just makes them look bad so many times.
Especially when he said "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

He's just playing on peoples ignorance. Face it there are a great deal of ignorant and uneducated poor blacks in this country unfortunately. People like Kayne they see as leaders because they relate to the color of their skin and since hes rich and popular whatever he says they blindly believe.

u r sooooo right joevette, I get tired of all that crap too. people need to grow up and move on. all these whiners do need to get a life, they have the same opportunity as everybody else. most instances even more so than the common white person. everyone seems to blame everything on the whites. if you look at history, my ancestors(blacks) were enslaving each other long before any european showed his face on that continent.
