How old are they? You can start feeding them baby cereal once a day from 4 months old if they aren't getting fulfilled enough simply from either breastmilk or formula. As they get older, probably 6 or 7 months, they will need more because their bodies are growing and they get hungrier so you would introduce a second meal. Maybe one in the morning and one in the evening, depending on their sleep routine. Talk to your health nurse/doctor they'll be able to advise you. By time a child is 12 months old, they should be eating the same foods as an adult - 3 meals a day - but obviously in smaller amounts appropriate to their size.

3 meals a day, and 3 snacks. If you consider the amount of energy that a child expells, then they need plenty to eat. They will stay healthy if you keep them active.

Ok, I know you are not that dumb..............
You should be ashamed even asking a question like this.
3 meals a day with snacks.
Dah, children depend on the adult in their life so grow up and be one.
If your asking this question for a joke well the joke is on you.

Children's stomachs are small and they need to be fed 3 meals a day, and 2 snack times.
If you don't want to properly provide for them, I'd be happy to.

you should be feeding them at least 5 SMALL meals a day. by only feeding them one or two, you are slowing down their metabolism and probably starving them.give them something small every 3-4 hours in order to keep them healthy and slim
