Yes James. Some only kneel to pray when things are going bad. You need to pray over things BEFORE they happen.

Yes ...because I feel like I have to acknowledge him in all situations....He allows all situations to take place ....good and bad.He wants us to use the common sense that he gave all of us to decipher good from bad......and to become better people from the knowledge that we take with us from whatever the lesson may be...........

Actually, every day I thank God for all I have. My family, home, pets, job. Some people are not are fortunate as we are and I pray for them. People need more of being happy, satisfied and content with what they have. Not with what they don;t have. All the money, cars, clothes and fancy stuff can't make you happy. People think it will, but it dosen't. You need to live each day, like it may be your last, and the way things are going in the world, that may not be too far from the truth. Tell everyone how you feel, love them and be thankful. You never know when your number is up.

Yes I do. all the time. I thank God for being there for me 24/7. Good times and bad times. He has helped me grow physically, mentally and most of all, spiritually. I am so glad that Christ died on the cross for my sins. Sometimes I get lazy about thanking the Lord, but then it takes a great question like yours to help remind me to say Thank You. I will do so now. Have a great day!!

Indeed! We often forget to thank the Lord in bad times. I've never understood that. When you think about it; Katrina, Tsunamis, death in the family, AIDS: They're all part of His glorious plan!

We don't exactly give thanks but we don't brood and blame Him as well. God gives us little tests here and there to test our faith, so whenever you succumb into a problem or get into trouble, remember to pray to him and ask him for help instead of blaming Him for it.

God Bless You! =)

Always, I'm sure he doesn't appreciate people praying only when things are bad.

I think how wondrous He is when the skies are that "so blue" color & the sun is shining, when a family member makes it thru another hardship, when my kids smile & laugh, when my husband tells me he loves me. Yes, I give thanks for as many good things that occur to me as I can.

I've learned to give thanks in the good times and to give thanks in the bad times because when the praises go up the blessings come down. God is the first person I think when something good happens because it's his will.

When I'm going through something bad I play gospel and thank God that he is going to get me through it. Wether I have to cry, smile, laugh or frown I still give God thanks because I am still breathing.

Not often enough. Romans 8:28 also helps.
