That is a tough question! In my opinion, the curfew time for any child depends on the individual child as well as other factors. The other factors include, but are not limited to: neighborhood/area, what the child is going to be doing, who else is going to be there, is there responsible adult supervision, how responsible is the child, what kind of transportation is available (walk, bike, public transportation, private vehicle), how far away is this person wanting to go, how long is the event that he/she is wanting to go to, and other questions like this.
Once the child has answered all of the questions that you as a parent have to your satisfaction and you have checked with whom ever you need to to confirm this information, then it's really up to you. Also keep in mind that your city may have a mandatory curfew for people under the age of 18. If a particular event is going to be later than the city curfew, you may need to personally pick your child up or they may be in trouble with the law.

Young teenagers are still developing and need their sleep. So I think 8p.m. is a good time. This helps them to learn the responsibility and consequences of not following through with curfew and be home in time to unwind. That way they can be in bed by 10p.m. They have their whole adult life to break night.

Unless it's a special occasion (with adult supervision and adult transportation), the curfew should be no later than 10 p.m. During the school year, on school nights, it should be no later than 9 p.m., provided all homework was done before going out.

I would say it all depends on where they were goin, with who and how responsible they are. At 15 i had a 10.30 curfew during the week and midnight(ish) at weekends.

It depends on the area in which you live. Do you live in a high crime area? Then curfew should be before dark. Do you live in a low crime area? Then curfew should be 10PM as long as you are in your neighborhood..
