So I just recently broke up with my boyfriend of 2 and 1/2 years because we hadn't been getting along and we kinda figured out together that we grew apart into two totally different people. So why did he get it in his mind that I must be in love with someone else??? I'm not! Weird?

Doesn't sound like you figured it out together. He may feel that way because it is easier for someone to justify it that way, if you were interested in someone else that's why, if not then he has to dig deeper to figure out what part he played in the relationship going bad. Guys just aren't normally that deep.

2 1/2 years is along time to call it quits guys are like that if u are together that long and something happens they just assume theres someone else.

Hey I've been going with mine a lil over a year and im starting to get that we are growing apart now...he thinks that there is someone else and there really isnt...he doesn't trust me at all and I've never given him a reason not to...I don't think that it is weird.

he is trying to justify to himself why you left , and that you left because you cheated on him and it is all your fault ... ego issues .. besides it does not matter what he thinks.. ignore him
