130 for a female of 5'4" isn't what I would call fat. Maybe a little overweight, perhaps. There is a body mass calculator on this website and a great diet routine to lose weight. Check it out:

STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!

HERE ARE THE BASICS:

1. you lose weight by consuming fewer Calories than you burn
2. you gain weight by consuming more Calories than you burn.
3. you should be concerned with losing FAT, not weight.
4. You should be more concerned with your percent body fat, not your weight.
5. the best, most effective way or burning fat is by combining weight-training and cardio exercise. The more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism will be. You will burn more calories all day long, including while you sleep. A health body fat percentage for males is 7-18%, females 18-24% (approximate numbers).
6. you should eat 6-8 small meals each day - this will prevent you from eating 3 large meal which will slow your metabolism while your body works to digest the large quantity of food.

As a general rule of thumb, you should be weight-training 3-4 times per week and performing cardio 3-5 times per week.

Consider hiring a personal trainer (ISSA certified) and a nutritionist. The money spend on these services is worth more than spending money on pills and potions.

Well if you really want to loose weight the best way is to exercise, if you have the money be a gym member and if not jog every morning and afternoon. Drink more water and eat less food. Do push ups and set ups to help with your stomach and the arms to get well toned, I know it works for me. Oh and the last meal you eat should be atleast before 18:00. Don't eat chocolates/sweets, potatoes and all the food with starch. If you follow this for at least a month or two you'll loose weight. Most importantly don't forget to exercise to "change" the fat into muscles cause this prevents the body from being lumpy.

Your weight is considered to be in the "normal range" in the BMI scale of 22.3 - A score of 25 to 29 would make you overweight and over 30 is "obese".

If you want to lose weight I suggest the old school tried and true diet and exercise. No pills!! You're too young anyway to be taking diet pills, they made me feel kind of crazy and I'm a whole lot older than you...

You may want to search Yahoo!Answers for this topic, as it is asked regularly, and has gotten some great answers. The other answers can direct you to body mass indexes, that can help you determine what is "normal", however, you are still growing, so you may want to just watch your diet and let your growing take care of using up the extra "fuel" you have acquired so far. I did not start dieting until I was 17, and then I did Weight Watchers to get down to the weight you currently are at. I would not think you are fat. Maybe not toned.

First go to your doctor for a checkup before starting any diet. Next, don't try losing weight fast, you'll only gain it back plus more. IKeep your weight loss at about 15-20 pounds per month.Any more in that time and your body can go into shock.

You could stand to lose a little but I wouldn't say you are fat either. Just watch what you eat. Don't eat a lot of sweets or greasy, fried foods. Eat more fruits, vegetables and drink more water. That should get you back to where you want to be. Good luck.

You aren't overweight for your height. The healthy weight for this height is 115-140 lbs. That is how tall I am as well! You don't need to lose weight unless you get above 140.

Exercise...walk all you can and as often as you can. Walking is the best form of exercise. No junk food! Stay away from salt, sugar, bread...mainly everything that tastes good..lol....no more soda...drink plenty of water, that helps fill you up at meal time so you will eat less. Good luck, losing weight is one of the hardest things to do!
