I am wearin soft satin ballet slippers, 30 bucks. My dress is long and no one will se my feet anyway. I want to make sure I am comfortable that day. You can spend as much or as little as you want. Are they really going to be seen except for the garter toss? In that case for the garter toss bring a pair of white heels to slip on real quick. Think about the most practical choice. Most dress shops have shoes there for sell that you are able to try on with your dress so you get an overall look. Be comforatble though. My fiance's sister wore a pair of sketchers bridal shoes. Yes they make a special pair of bridal shoes.

I wear flip flops pretty much all the time but couldn't find any that I liked enough in any of the stores I went to...so I ordered mine from a website (http://www.flipflopstyle.com/whiteweddingrroxy.html) and enough charms so that during the ceremony it said I on one foot and RH on the other...then after the ceremony one of my bridesmaids helped me change it to MRS one one foot and then RH on the other. Made for some cute pictures and in the end I think I paid about $40.

I went with a ballet slipper that I got from a bridal magazine. I think they were about $30 and very comfortable.
For the church I got white satin shoes from Payless shoe store. I loved the ballet slippers though, between standing for all the photos, dancing, etc. I couldn't imagine walking around in my church shoes all day

I wore white flop flops from Target that cost $10. We had a casual wedding and the bridesmaids wore the same shoes as me. And we all wore knee-length dresses.

Mine cost $200 - I got them from the bridal shop where I got my dress. They were leather white ballet slippers - super comfortable the day of the wedding! I just can't wear heels without pain so I decided to make sure I had happy feet - it was bliss!

For the ceremony itself, I wore barefoot sandals that I bought on eBay for about $8. (It was on the beach.) For the reception which ended up being inside, I wore beautiful white beaded shoes. My mom bought them at Lord & Taylor. I'm not sure how much they were.

I got mine at DSW, they were $50 but I got a flip flop style and the part that is usually colored is covered in clear sparkles, they have a little heel and are totally something I can wear again, I got them because no one really would see them under the dress anyway so why not get something you can wear again?!
Good luck and Congrats!

I just wore a pair white thong flip flops from Wal Mart. They cost me 2 bucks. My dress was long so no one even new till the garter came off. Everyone had a big kick out of it.

LOL Okay payless has tons of bridal/wedding shoes for cheap. I actually bought mine there the other day and they weren't even in the bridal section...but they are so cute and fun I had to and guess what? It cost me only 14.99! Here is a link to them and they light up on the bottom so it's perfect for low light dancing!
