Sell your old but good items locally. No fees, nothing like ebay this is like a online yard sale. Once you enter the website look to the right for your state and a city closest to you. Read some of the other ads to get ideas. I have purchased two cars and sold two cars and other items on craigslist. No fees for posting or contacting people about something advertised.
I am on craigslist all the time.

Or you could get an evening job or do one of the online 'make money at home' things!
Ask for a pay rise at work!

How about proof reading/correcting documents for publishers. You can do this at any time of day - when you stuck on the bus/train travelling to and from work.
