Yes.

If you throw a ball into the air, it will return to earth. At the peak of its ascent (the zenith) it will have zero velocity (remember it has stopped going up and is about to come down) BUT it is doing this b/c of the acceleration due to gravity.

So it has acceleration, but no velocity at that instant.

After reading iridium's answer,yes you are right man. I didn't think about two different forces.
