Have we all been hoodwinked?
They consider themselves God's chosen people. Are they actually the problem?
(This is exactly the kind of question that recently I would have written off as the ramblings of a stupid anti-semite)
Have they manipulated the world? Or are they really "more sinned against than sinning"?
I know I've changed my stance recently! It is one thing to get information (persecution, victimhood, holocaust) from a history book - quite another to see life played out in front of my eyes.
I'm not just talking about the current conflict - over the past 10 years the actions of Israel have continually sickened me - and I get my information from a variety of media. I guess the current war is my own "tipping point". Forget "anti-semitism" - I think I just got wise.
First one to call me a hate-mongering anti-semite gets a big yawn - that stuff is getting real old now.

My opinon of the Jewish people has not changed. I am far more outraged that Bush is waiting to send Ms Rice over until Israel has had a chance to bomb the enemy for another week so we don't have to take a stand. Worse yet, have you been listening to Bush? He is all for this war, just as he was all for the Iraq war.. talk about hate mongering, talk about terrorist .. maybe we should mention the illegal phone tapping going on of U.S. citizens?
I respect Israel because when the chips are down, they do what they say they will do. They are the ones I would want to rescue me if I was held captive because they usually suceed where others fail. I personally am against all wars, but they have been pushed beyond where they said they would not be pushed. Who created the terrorists? It was real easy.. Bush has done more to create terrorists than most I can think of in the last 10 years. It is very easy to create a terrorist.. it is pretty much imposible to unmake one. I would worry more about your own countries behavior than the decisions of Israel.
As to your many sources, the least politically slanted publications are, the Christian Science Monitor, The Guaridan (formally the Manchester Guardian) Bejing Review and the Utne Reader. Facist rags will print facist views.

Please separate the Jewish People from the Israeli government...who deserves any blame for the incompetence of Israeli soldiers which results in the deaths of those poor civilians who live next-door to the anti-semite terrorists. (the terrorists also deserve this blame btw)
So the answer to this question is that no my opinion of the Jewish people (that of a proud respectable people who deserve to exist as much as we do) has not and will not change. The Israeli government's actions on the other hand...thats another matter altogether!!!
P.S. At least you are the first guy I have seen who has voiced an intelligent and un-stupid opinion against the Israeli's actions.

Yes I have gotten to feel real sorry for them, They agree to give back certain lands to have peace and what happens, terrorist from Lebanon keep attacking them anyway.
Next this terror group in Lebanon was ordered by the UN to disband and disarm over 2 years ago, and the Lebanon army and the 2000 UN peace keepers in Lebanon have done nothing to keep up thier end of the agreement.
So they are fighting now for thier right to exist, since it is obvious that the UN will not stand behind thier orders to Lebanon and that the terrorist groups backed by Iran will not keep thier agreements at peace either.
So I believe they are not only justified in what they are doing, but should perhaps go ahead and knock out Iran while they are at it.

i read a good piece 2 or 3 days about judaisim vs. zionisim, it was a very interesting article exploring the history of zionisim, which the author blames for most current tension. zionists are into manifest destiny for the jews, let the chips fall where they may. many early zionists were not jews and WERE anti-semitic, it was like our current (US) racists who say "send all blacks back to africa", there is no interest in helping black people, its just a ploy to get rid of them dressed up as an interest in their welfare.

ok. I basically have been given some greater products of the final Days puzzle, so i've got self assurance that he's a delicate unto my direction so as that i will see my way clean in the direction of the smoke and hearth it relatively is coming. BTW, some little previous woman requested me if i became into Jewish, and that i reported "No, i'm no longer." Then she requested me back "Are you Jewish?" and that i reported "No." She tilted her head, appeared me over and reported "Are you beneficial you're no longer Jewish?" and that i reported "woman, for the final time, i'm no longer Jewish!" so as she walked away she became and reported "you do no longer seem Jewish."

It is my understanding that they are just fighting for the land that God promised them. I think it would be a big mistake on the part of the US to EVER turn against them.
If you believe Bible prophecy the Jews will win in the end.

The issues between Israel and Palestinian are political. Such issues could hardly permanentaly solved by use of force. This has been proved.

I haven't seen any evidence to show me that any ones been hoodwinked. You didn't spell out any incidences. Their recent trouble all began when they were attacked. I don't know.....but I sorta feel they are justified in retaliating. Call me a wacky person.

Isreal defends itself no matter what, and they're good at it. They have to be considering the situation they find themselves in in that part of the world. I can't fault them for it, I respect them for it.
