Don't want to make the first move. How do I know that he likes me? I have fear of rejection too. Be it in a coffee shop, club etc.

Oh for gods sake girl - grow a backbone! You sound SOOOO desperate with the questions you ask. You're not ugly if thats you in the picture.
Any man worth having will approach you of his own accordance - if you try and make them approach you you're just gonna come across and desperate and possibly easy.
relax, smile and be yourself - you'll get a guy worth having then.

Try to look less like a hard-*** business woman (less threatening) many men find it hard enough approaching girls as it is. Coffee shops are not great places to pick up, because people are in and out very quickly- it's like a transit point. Join a club, go to more friends parties, walk some one's dog etc. If all that fails, get back to me!

Be yourself. Women try SO hard all the time to get guys' attention and many succeed with their own little flirty looks, walks, conversations and such....but they're all putting on a SHOW. None of them would be able to actually marry those guys because all they're giving the guy is a show to watch for a couple of hours. Being yourself is the best way to get a true man's attention; it may take you longer to find the perfect guy, but he'll be worth the wait.
You'll know a guy likes you if you decide to just be yourself; guys don't want phonys just as much as girls don't want phonys. So give that to a guy! It's the best gift in the world you can give to a guy when you first meet him.

So, you are not as good as a male? We must face the rejection issue all the time, and not one female that I ahve seen care about that, you are the first one that has pointed out that it is a nice feeling, I hope you will take that into consideration next time some guy approaches you.....If he is a friend, or you have at least met him....wait to get him a lone...and jsut ask him if he would like to go for coffee......or some drink....you don't want to go alone.....and hate being alone....

Dress up as a drag queen!!! Or better still, ask him out, go to a concert, cinema, dinner, etc. If you have something in common, utilise it. But if you're shy, well coat yourself with paint and sit and wait to see if any men will approach you before the paint dries.

Smile at him. Make direct eye contact. Blush a little if you can. Don't look away. If he isn't interested, he'll look away. If he is interested, he'll smile and hopefully come talk to you.
A smile is a gift you can give to everyone. If you smile at someone and the aren't interested, you still probably brightened their day considerably. (They'll walk around all day thinking "A pretty girl smiled at me today!)
He may come up with a lame line like "Have we met?" Just say "No, but my name is ...." He'll tell you his name at that point and you're on your way!

Judging from your pic you should not have a problem with a man approaching you unless there is something underlying or not shown in your pic.
Keeping a man interested is the real trick!

If i saw you in a bar and you looked over towards me with a smile i would most certainly come and have a chat with you.
From then its just a case of being yourself and let the chemistry bubble and take over, the most important thing is to have fun.

If you dont make the first move you will never know will you? And I wouldn't worry about rejection, if thats you in the pic you have nothing to worry about looks wise.
