what do you know and think about Indonesia?

indonesia is my country. please be honest if you want to answer it. indonesia is a great country, i think. because of all the scenery. many tourist think indonesia is a dangerous. but is not like that. you must try to spend your holiday in bali for sunbathing, jakarta for shopping, or the other city. this country is nice to holiday, i swear. but, what do you know and think about indonesia?

yeah, the disaster are scary. but, indonesia it just not a muslims, earthquake, and tsunami. that's not indonesian false. that is from god. and what can we do. bali its nice. i spend my [almost] all holiday in there. or bandung, thats city have good scenery and good place for shopping. jakarta is a modern city. maybe many people afraid to go to indonesia because of the terorist. i'm afraid too. i live in jakarta. and i am indonesian. and i dont fel unlucky because of i am an indonesian. people must to see indonesia before talk about indonesia. indonesia in news and the real indonesia is different. many indonesian is stupid. but many indonesian too is clever. change your thinked about indonesia. don't figure indonesia is like a traditional city with all bad things. once again, i'm happy to be an indonesian. yesterday, we have an earthquake and tsunami again. but just that. so what? that is a disaster. i am muslim too. but not an addict muslim. its different, i think.

indonesia is a great country and abundant nature wildlife but perhaps the government side with corruption going on.. people might be poor and resort to criminal act hence tourist find it dangerous. A better and safer country usually depends largely on the government governing the country. =)

haha well I think it has its good points and its bad, like everything else in this world. I think Jakarta can be scary in certain places, depending on where you go, and you can't even compare that to the U.S. because they'll never be able to catch up to our standards, unfortunately. I absolutely love Bali! It's really one of the best places you can go. It's absolutely beautiful. I think the land is great, but the government is corrupt and so that means the people have to suffer. Yea, i wish i could help them.
Heck, i'll just go there and run for president! =)
But i mean overall, i have to love the country because i was born there and when i visited last summer, and even though i thought everything was corrupt, i couldn't help but love it.

Yes, you are correct, it really is a remarkable country, but it is held back by its population. It has far too many Indonesians living there. It wud be more successful as a country if it was full of Canadians, Norwegians, Swiss, Danes, etc.

for me indonesia is great. but im still afraid to go there. there are nature disaster everywhere. im from Malaysia and i know indonesia is a great place for shopping. i feel sympathy for my friends (including u) from indonesia because of the disaster. I can't imagine if im living in indonesia. i'm feeling very thankful for being Malaysian..
