I only ask because a lot of people who used to be Christian are now athiests and all that. They HATE Christianity. I'm a Jew and don't agree with Christianity, I just want to know why you are either a Jesus freak or hate Christianity. Please put some thought into your answers. I'm very interested.

Haha, I've never been accused of NOT being a Jew. Nope, I'm all Jew. 100% ashkenaz. How am I supposed to think? Please educate me.

I just asked because I noticed that either their is someone bashing all of Christendom (which I am apt to do myself) or Christians bashing each other. It really makes me laugh.

Unfortunately, so many times, what happens is people either get discouraged because they think that if God does not answer their prayers immediately or the way they expect, that God doesn't really care. So many people don't realize that God's will may not be the same as ours and He will choose when and how to answer prayer. And the answer is not always yes! Another sad fact is that so many Christians get belittled, berated, called names and told they're going to hell because they are human and make mistakes by so-called Christians that they just give up. The devil has a stronghold...he likes to discourage people and if people aren't strong in their faith or have a weak moment, the devil can snatch them and harm their beliefs. It's sad but true, my friend. God bless you.

Christianity nails human nature. If you love the world then you hate Christianity. They are incompatible. Christianity says to have hetero sex only with the person you are married to. World values say to have sex however, whenever, and with as many people as your hearts content. Christianity says to live a healthy wholesome lifestyle.World values says to smoke, drink, and eat everything that comes to your mind no matter what it does to you. Christianity says to love other people and help the poor and do good for others.World values says live life for you and you only and get everything you can while you can.Christianity says to aim for higher treasures but world values says the purpose of life is to get as much money and stuff as possible.

So because Christianity is so oppose to human nature, it is impossible to be neutral about it. Either you love it or you hate it and think very negatively about people who follow it

some christians teach doctrine and lean unto their own understanding. Many of my fellow christians are insecure about their religion because they trust in the arm of man and not in God.
Some of them have changed their doctrine to please their congergations. But there are some who still teach true doctrine.
the church I go to has the same teachings are taught as it did when it first began. If I were to go to another country we would still be taught the same lesson in sunday school, just in a different language. This year we are in the Old Testament. Then next year we will be in the New Testament, and so on we two other books that we learn out of.

Well I'm a Christian which means i believe that Christ dead for my sins. I believe that Jesus died for our sins and by his sacrifice we are forgiven and made new. There are experience's i have had that i just cant deny that God is real in my life. but it doesn't really matter because until you truly personally exuberance Jesus in you life will you ever be a Jesus freak and be willing do anything for him and its because he paid the price for our sins on the cross. We can deny him but that's our will but he died that we might have a chance to be saved it wasn't a guarantee by his death that we be saved but that we believe in him. and in the Mark 16:15 tells his disciples "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." and that's the main reason were here to preach the gospel of Jesus and what he has done for us. But for those who used to be Christian's and now are atheist i feel very sorry for them and my prayers go out to you. only god knows why they have so much hated towards us but i still love them and so does Jesus its never to late to change your mind.

well not all the people who say that are christians truly ARE! as a young christian im still learning a lot about jesus and bible but i know that bible says that when you are god´s child once you never stop to be one, so thats why i think they werent really christians in their hearts, like that they didnt accepted jesus as their personal savior... and yes im jesus freak, because that is least what i can do because i was created to be that:)

You know, there are not that many 'Jesus freaks' and there are not that many atheists. So it's not like a person is one or the other. To accurately answer your question, I guess I need a better question.

I don't think anyone hates Jesus, they all don't like the current Christianity which you and I can surely agree is very corrupted.

Well as you see, I am a christian and I dont hate other religions. Maybe other "christians". As I know, we, christians talk about God and not fighting with other religions. That christian you were talking about wasn't a REAL christian.
