No, the word of god is supposed to circulate. If you steal the bible from someone who has more bibles, this should be celebrated by the church. If, after you read it, you hand the book back to the church or the community, that is. If you steal the book from someone who wanted to read it though, you're in trouble. And if you steal it from someone who hits people over the head with bibles, or worships the book, you're a crusader. I think. But therefore I have no faith lol.

stealing is both a crime, and a sin. If you need it that badly, just ask.
Do you know someone who stole a bible? And did they take it from a church, or a hotel room? Because people steal everything else from hotels. I should know, I work at one, and nobody takes the bible that's in the room. We also have plenty more in one of the store rooms.

Yes, stealing is not only a crime but a sin!
Especially stealing from the Church...
If they wanted the bible, I am sure the congregation would let him/her have it for free if they only ask...
Good Luck and God Bless

no. church bibles should be free. besides a christian knows not to judge. we as christians are to spread the word and if a person takes the knowledge contained within the bible and learns to accept christ then the theft would be washed away upon their acceptance of christ as their personal savior.

They should forgive you if they are good christians, but its okay if they give you some sort of punishment for stealing it. Christians must still obey civil law. Stealing is a crime and they can give you to the cops if they want.

Yes, stealing is stealing. If you cannot afford it then you can ask the Church to donate it to you.
