I once had a best friend like you. We became best friends in the 7th grade. Every girl that I was ever interested in he ended up dating her. When we were young it didn't mater much. But as we got older it did mater. I broke off our friendship 10 years ago. After thinking about what he had done to me through the years. It's not easy to loose a best friend. But some times it's a has to do thing. If you do this to your best friend, your not much of a best friend. You should try to help your friend hook up with this girl. Then if it doesn't work out between them then she is fair game. But at least let him have a chance with the girl he likes. If you were my best friend and you did this to my I would stop our friendship

DON'T DO IT. Girls come and go. Best friends can last a life time. You will get more out of your relationship with your best friend then you would if you hurt him(possibly ending your friendship) then you would with you hooked up with the girl. It's summertime...find aother girl your friend doesn't know. Trust me. I ruined a very good friendship over the same situation.

it is all about who made the first move. if you guys calls each other best friends, then you guys should know how to let up. if not best friends are the last thing you you should be calling yourselves. all for a girl?????

there is no best way to tell anyone this, so just tell em you think she is cool and that you are thinking about asking her out.. of course he ain't gonna like it if she says yes, you may lose a best friend. but, if he is already dating her then it's hands off, till they break up (not just argue, but actually break up).
