how old is he? do you live in a muslim country?
about this problem, depends why he is drinking like that. all muslims know that alcohol is VERY haraam so if he drinks anyway, then he clearly needs another reason to stop, apart from the religious reason. so find out why he drinks, and since he's your brother you probably know his motivation buttons so push those. everyone is affected by someone or something so find out who or what it is for your brother and use it.

Hey man i am a muslim to I say call up the pindu people and have them beat the **** out of your brother. Beat his *** and scare him so he wont drink. or take him far into dessert and leave him there with food for coupld days. He will get over his desire for beer. Or finally get him something beter than beer a girllllllllllllllllllllllll

Alkiholics need to hit bottom, and once you been one they say that you are recovering for the rest of your life. The only way is to have a heart to heart and say that you dont want to see him anymore and ask him to stay away while drunk. If he comes to you for help to drink more, tell him then you dont wanna see him when hes sober now. Then he will show up drunk and crying, then its time to get violent...since the koran has specific laws that prohibit this behavior, tell him u had to get jihaddy with it ; )

Gather some facts of people whom he knew who has encountered problems due to drinking. Show him a documentary film about the harmful effect of drinking.

It is his choice if he wants to drink but if you want him not to drink alcohol around you please try giving him some non alcohol beer. Do not tell him it is non alcohol. Any time he asks for beer get him non alcohol beer. Just keep quiet about the alcohol content. If you really want to succeed keep an empty alcohol beer can handy and pour the non alcohol beer into it. Then give it to him.
