Basically Singaporean appear to be happy but deep in their heart nobody knows what they are thinking. People always think what are the things that they need to pay every month eg car installment, housing loan, credit card payment etc and the list goes on.
Every parent also concerned if their children can go to good school like RI, RGS etc .This actually put more pressure on our younger generation.
Even when the student go to schools they compare their result and the course of study coz most of them feel that they want to go to a course with a bright future and let them make lot of money.
As a result of these, people becomed more self centred and everything they do is always "I" first and they don't really care how others feel. So do you think Singaporean is happy

In some ways, yes. In more ways, NO.

Here, everything will need to be fast and your mind must react quick and wittyly. If not, you will be left behind by the Society.

Ways of Education has change. The teachings that parents pass-down to their children have also change. In many new era families, you can see parents always advised their children to get high results, learn more skills, not to lose to their mates, etc, so do you think such group of children will be happy?

Working systems have also change. Hardworking staffs will not necessary to be the one who get the promotion, Lazy staffs will not necessary to be retrenched or fired by the Management Team, etc. So do you such incidents happened, will the hardworking group of people be happy?

Marriage systems have change. Couples will not last long like what they have made vows at the signing ceremony. Divorcing rates are raising like wave tides washing into shores after earth-quake. So do you think that new couples in this our Country be happy?

Let's all ponder on such questions, why are we seeking un-happiness ourselves? Is there a must for all these.

All the best.

It depends on the person?

If you want to spread your wings and fly, no.

If you just want to live your life peacefully and die peacefully, then yes.
