disconnected battery, now radio shows LOC and wont work. if I hold buttons #2&3 it shows 8178, but dont know what to do with this. Geo prizm 1997

do you still have the manual for the car????
if you do find out about the radio i it if not go on to your cars website ie"FORD.COM" and you should be able to get it from there but in future remember the code so if you eed to disconect the batt you will be able to listen to your "phat" tunes

you need to call up your local dealer and once you find the person who can help you they will require that 8178 number and then give you another series of numbers in return to unlock the radio.
