You need to take him to the vet! I took my dog in recently with the same problems! They pulled 16 teeth and he could eat better instantly and put on a couple pounds in no time! That bad breath is tooth decay and it is not only painful to your dog but very unhealthy! You need to do this ASAP! Your dog will be happy and love you so much more and you will definately know that you did the right thing once the pain of the bill wears off! You know your dog is suffering greatly and your the only chance he's got! Do the right thing! Call tomorrow and get him in there pronto! DO IT!!

You should contact your vet to do some dental work...they will pull the rotting teeth, and clean the teeth that are still healthy. Then you need to make the effort and brush your dog's teeth...it's very dangerous to let your dog's teeth get so bad they rot...it could cause death. Also, bad breath could be a sign of a more serious problem, like kidney or liver failure, so you really need to take him to the vet...

You need to take him to your vet. If some of his teeth need to come out, it will make your dog more confortable. If a LOT of his teeth need to come out, you might have to adjust his diet to softer foods than regular dog food, such as cooking meat or chicken with rice for him to eat. Bad breath can also be digestive problems, worms, etc. A vet will be able to help you more than anyone else can. Your dog is just as important as you, as far as being provided the best health care so his life is not painful in his old age. A dog's old age can be very expensive. I recently spent $2,400 for heartworm treatment and tumor surgery on my 14 year old German Shepherd. One month after all the surgery he endured, and when he was feeling good again, he was killed by two pit bulls. Sometimes tragic things happen to our beloved pets. Good luck to you and your best friend.

Dogs need teeth cleaned by vet regularly. We tend to feed too much soft food.

They don't get bones as in the wild.

you have to go to the veterinarian for more informations and you have to buy dog food.mostly, many people experience that their dogs have rotten teeth and badbreath. I researched at a german shepherd dog book that maybe a dog had eaten uhm food that can create loss of teeth and you have to take your dog at the veterinarian clinnic monthly so that your dog will be more healthier and more comfortable....

Take him to the vets. My mam works at a vets and they have this de-scaler machine and they scrape off all the rotten bits and clean their teeth and stuff. My mam threatened to use it on me last time I was up!

Call your vets office and ask them. They may suggest that you feed him wet food if he isn't already eating it...it would be easier to chew for him. They probably have some other good suggestions as well to make him more comfortable.

Take him to the vet and have them pulled! The dog will truly appreciate it afterwards.
