the reason im not ready for those who dont understand is because last time I was in a long relationship. I finally said it..and then he cheated on me...do you see now...
its a fear.,..more than not being ready!

I remember my first relationship I told the guy I loved him back and since then he acted like he had all the power on me and he dumped me. It took quite a while for me to trust guys again and then finally I got into another relationship and everytime this guy would tell me he loved me I wouldn't respond.
I knew I loved him but just saying the words to him was the most difficult or should I say impossible thing for me to say. He hung around long enough for me to tell him that I loved him and then after that he's been pressurizing me to have sex with him but I told him I have morals and principles which are I don't engage in sex before marriage and guess what? He dumped me.
Sometimes guys just want to say those words to girls probably because they think we are very gullible and we'll give in to whatever they ask of us. My advice to you is don't say it if you're not ready.
I understand your fears but don't say it just because you want to make him happy or you might regret it.
To make it easier for the both of you tell him the reason you're not able to say it I'm sure he might be able to understand and if not..........

Well at least your being real and not saying things you don't mean!! The word Love is used Sooooo Much!!! that it has lost it's Value!! Just say it when you feel it and when your ready, if this person truly loves you he will respect/understand you and not even make this an issue!!

How can you love someone and not say it....You shouldnt be able to contain your self if you truly love him.....I wanted the whole world to know I loved my guy, and wished I could tell him I loved him every single day.....but unfortunately for complicated reasons I cant....Dont take it for granted...tell him you love him, it would mean so much to him...Only say it if you really mean it, if you have reservations, then perhaps you need to stop wasting his time....

Obviously you don't love him.There is no such thing loving somebody but not being ready to tell him.And what do you mean by not being ready?Love doesn't ask.If it is there,it is there.In your case i don't think it's there.Sorry!

don't say anything, just kiss him.
but if you love him i really think you should tell him he took a big chance sharing it first, if you feel that way why not let him know, it will make him feel really good.

dun worry bout it. i'm scared too.. i dun say it back.. i've never said it back... i said thanks.. i think you shud tell him how you feel about saying it and he shud respect you and understand... tell him you really care for him alot.. tell him that ur not ready.. oh and you won't hurt him jus by saying thanks.. some ppl jus need time like you.. when you do say it, you'll noe that it's special.. that he's special..
