I refuse to eat veal also. I can vividly remember watching a documentary about how veal is produced, at least 25 years ago and I cannot even think about consuming a calf....I am not a total vegetarian by any means but that is just too cruel....

I don't, but not because of how their raised, I just don't like the flavor. I'll try anything once. I worked in a fine dining French style restaurant in Las Vegas, and I tried the crispy veal sweetbreads and the veal chops. They weren't for me.

I would rather not ingest all those drugs, you know...the ones they give them to stay alive because of the horribly unbalanced diet and disgusting living conditions. And hey Im a butcher. I cut the stuff all the time.

PS - Cow blood should be red not a milky pink.

no, I have never had veal, not that I am aware of. I don't think that I would, it's kind of like foi gras to me, an unnecessary luxury product that is extremely cruel.
