Neither! Prophet was neither Sunni or Shia, He was a Muslim just like Moses and Jesus.
Read the Quran and Hadiths, follow the rules and simple lifestyle that has been given to us.
Basics are same in both divisions but there are minor issues that separate them from each other.

AND also my friend forget to tell u when u become MUSLIM ALLAH wiill for give u all the sins and u life account will start again and u will have a hight RANK coz u were a NON muslim and then u became MUSLIM i was born as a MUSLIM( ALLAH IS GREAT) but u will have a hight rank then me so search on internet or go to a MUSLIM scholr and ask him to tell u what to do study ISLAM very will

Be a muslim, The followers of islam are called as 'Muslims'. Which means "One who submits his will to ALLAH". Therefore if you are interested in embracing Islam, become a muslim. Then why do we have sunnis or Shias?
The matter lies in its interpretation. Some understand the verse of the quran is this way, the others may not adhere to it. But then who is correct? One who submits his will to ALLAH is correct, he may call himself by whatever name. But it is strongly mentioned to call yourself with the name given by Prophet Abraham i.e. Muslim.
Why the killings. Hey if any muslim who kills any HUman Being, whether muslim or non-muslim unless it be for murder or creating corruption in the land, is like he has killed the entire humanity.
Therefore those who kill others on the name of religion have no place in Islam.

If you are converting to Islam (Mashallah)(all Prases To Allah) than it is good..... I give you advise you convert to just a muslim......no Shia no Sunii just Muslim..... b/c Quran says....
" Hold the rope of Allah tightly and don't be distributed in sects(shia,sunnis).."

ALLAHIBIRK- You are most welcome to Islam, I wud suggest u to be a muslim neither shia nor sunni coz these are the groups divided themselves - human nature. Just like the countries in the whole world but the world is a world it was one but people have divided it into many countries.

if you want a religion of total truth . you are out of luck i'm still building one . but to start with you should beleive that i am allah . i am incarnate on earth , and considering no church on earth will ackolage me there realy is no piont in joining organized religion as they will probably only lead you away from god not to him . ok. if you have any questions about god or my family mind your own bizness all you need to know is that james stewart inglis is the incarnate name of god almighty . and the rapture people talk about will probable be in may 2007 unless i change my mind again ok

Just remember, once you "convert" you can not unconvert. According to Muslim law you must die. A "true" Muslim will kill you because this is commanded by the "merciful" prophet mohammed.
