I love the scotish accent so much...biggest attraction in a guy for me :) but some things I just done get...like 'aye' and 'like'...someone please explain hehe

sometimes "aye" means yes. sometimes, it is just a sound to make while you are thinking, like "well" or "umm."

aye means yes. It's like saying yeah.

You know, the scottish people might say the same thing about a word you use often in your dialect.

It's just slang like any local dialect has. Like saying dude.

slang and tradition has a lot to do with it too :-)

but wotz wrong with 'like' ? ?
