Or would it be a push-button war...in the sense that we would not risk American lives and just bomb them relentlessly.

It would be push button war! But we no longer need to use nukes. Nukes are antiques we have MOABs. 22,000lb convetional bombs with nuke blast power but NO radiation.

WE have Tomahawks with fuel-air explosive war heads. They can carry 10 war heads. They burn entire cities with fuel-air explosive.

First the MOAB, followed 10 seconds later by a Tomahawk. The entire city is flattened and then burned with fuel-air explosive. There is no way to survive!

At 3am any morning the order is given we can blow every Irainian city clean off the map with one giant boom!. Then burn whatever is left with a fire that's hotter than hell! The fire burns off the oxygen left in the rubble of the MOAB blast, incenerates everything and there is no air to breathe even if they find a place to hind. Iran is a giant smokeing hole in the sand!

Bombing relentlessly won't change anything. Millions are ready to die, and killing innocent civilians is not something we strive for.

That's a big "if" that we would wage all out war. But if we had to, it would have to involve some kind of ground invasion, which I'm sure would result in a lot of U.S. casualties, as well as many civilians in the area. Hopefully it will not come down to that, but radical Iranian leaders seem to be on a path that makes it inevitable...

Will anyone tell me Why Iran is seen as a villain...?

Its never attacked any other country...it speaks of reconciling (ahamdinijads letter to Bush) with the west..
It does not take **** from USA..which is probably why USA is pisst off...(USA wants every other country including Uk to lick its boots)

On the other hand..USA has supplied Iraq to attack Iran...(almost decimated an entire Iranian generation in that war)
USa has nuked Japan..
Usa has groomed Taliban to fight the Soviets...and than later themselves shot them down..
..It supports Isreal on the pretext that Lebanon has two Isreali soldeirs while there are thousands of Palestinans and Lebanese soldiers and civilians in Isreali jails!

One big hypocrite...and the best part is..
The poor mis-informed Americans are oblivious of the other side of the story..and yet giving judgements...

okay, it is wage war, not wadge war. So you are suspect. I am thinking that you are an Iranian officer trying to get info. So no, a draft would not be needed. Just the US airforce with missles that would destroy Iran's infrastructure.

The only way to not need a draft would be to wage nuclear war, which will most likely never happen. Not even Bush is dumb enough to risk that.

There is not going to be any war........If there would be, It would be too big a task for the US. Look at Iraq - So much time yet no good result. Certainly more US lives WILL be lost if any war is declared on Iran.

Nuclear weapons would not be used, because Iran do not have them yet. The US would not ned to use them. It would probably be a series of airstrikes. An invasion would be unlikely because the US and UK forces are stretched in Iraq.
