I am a paramedic, and Ive seen lots of people die, but the one that sticks with me is this one........A man got into an argument with another man and they decided to pull over and fight about it (stupid) well, the guy who died had an iron pipe, and the other man shot him with a shotgun. When we pulled up, he was lying in the street with his intestines hanging out. The fire dept. had out a dressing on his stomach. We loaded him into the ambulance and he was going into shock from so much blood loss. He grabbed me by my jacket and pulled me down to his face and said "please dont let me die, Ive got a little boy" I told him "your not going to die".....but he died before we got to the hospital. I still think about him.

Yes, unfortunately. I experienced someone dying on me last year. It was my girlfriend's mother. She took her last breath in front of me as I tried to revive her in vain. She suffered a deadly heart arrhythmia known as Ventricullar Fibrillation. It is where the heart rate becomes erratic, chaotic, disordered, and the heart quivers or "flutters", instead of pumping efficiently, thus cutting off blood flow to the brain and other organs. It was a very awful experience, and I hope I never go through it again. Death is always painful.

Yes I was with my grandfather when he died. It freaked me out and I didn't know what to do so I just took off running down the hall of the nursing home. The weird part is that there was a song playing on his radio, an old gospel song, something like "when i die hallelujah by and by, i'll fly away". Coincedence?

More times than I can remember. But then I work in a nursing home. Also held my Moms hand when she passed. Some deaths can be beautyfull. I know that sounds messed up , but to me it is true. Had a woman tell us once to tell her daughters she loved them, and just die. An other one was diagnosed terminal. She was so at peace with it, it was amazing.

Yes... I have. When I was 9 years old, my father had a heart attack. I grew up in a rural area so, to get him to a hospital, we put him in the car and I was responsible to hold his head still as we drove. He passed away in the car on the way to the hospital
