A soul is a person. Adam when created became a soul, he wasn't given a soul (Genesis 2:7)
The "voice" in your head is your own thoughts, chemical reactions created in your brain.

The soul is not the voice in your head. It's a very subtle form of energy, comparable to time of which you know it is there but you can't touch it or manipulate it. The soul is also the part that many religions call the divine spark. The soul is unmeasurable, unlike body, mind and spirit. The soul is also instantaneous through which it can give you impressions of things that you couldn't possibly know otherwise (think of gut-feelings).

Matter destroys, Energy changes its forms and Soul remain Eternal. Soul is the Superficial state of Energy,it is the Supreme Power.It contains Infinite Knowledge, Infinite Bliss. It is like Software to Form Universe.The Soul is One for Universe.

I believe the soul to be the life force within. Some may call it chi...or life energy. The voice in your head is your conscience which should guide you to do what you have been raised to believe is right and just.

The soul is the mind, the will, the intellect, and the emotions.
Man is a tri -partite being. Spirit, soul, and body.
He(she) is a Spirit being, with a soul, and lives in a body.

Soul is something that people believe exists with or without the body and represents the person. It may or may not exist.

We have 3 parts.
We are a spirit. Our spirit is the real us. Our spirit lives forever.
Our spirit resides in our body. The body, made of dust, is akin to a house for our spirit.
Our soul is essentially our will, our mind, our emotions. It is the experiental part of us.

Our soul is what our Heavenly Father gve us which makes us unique.
Some people believed we live, before and after our deaths, as spirit children of a heavenly father, who created our spirits... our souls. When we were born, our spirits became part of our physical bodies.
