If you pull your credit report, it will not affect your scores. If you apply for credit and a company pulls your report, then that will affect your scores.
When you pull your own reports, it will show as a soft pull. The only one who sees the soft pulls is "you", no one else will see it.
I you want to pull your free credit reports - DO NOT go anywhere but the FTC site to pull your free annual reports.

Yes, every time to ask for your credit score points are taken off, which affects your chances of having good credit. So be carefull of how many times you do this.

Yes, once a year is about it. Your beacon score will go down every time you pull your credit, and if potential creditors see you have many inquires on your bureau report, that will trigger an automatic decline of credit.
So, once a year. That it.

No. As long as YOU are requesting the report from the credit agencies, and not other parties - it does not affect your score. Join freecreditreport.com, and you can look at your credit report anytime you want, as often as you want.
