All right, don't get me wrong, I love her to bits. Besides, our relationship itself is going along very well.

But it seems that the tiniest bit of stress can get her dazed, tired, and emotional beyond a sane person's range.

This summer, she's been positively clinging to me with all her might. She has this dazed, teary expression. And once she's clung on, she hangs on me for hours and sobs...

Her only cause of stress this summer is choir. Yes, I know that our school's choir takes up a lot of time and effort, and there are discipline problems besides. And yes, she's a section leader and has to deal with these problems. She tells me it gives her a lot of stress.

She's like this before exams too.

As for me? I have 4 summer courses on Bioinformatics and Japanese. I'm also in two orchestras and we have full rehearsal schedules this summer. And finally, I have a summer job.

Now, who has the better case for sobbing and spazzing? And yet, I don't feel a need for that!

Your girlfriend is having emotional issues, she might need to talk to someone to learn how to deal with her stress. That way she won't be so dependant on you for support. She will learn to rely and trust in herself.

She is just really insecure it seems. You can boost her self-esteem by bragging on her, and encouraging her more, if that doesn't help, try and find someone for her to talk to.

I am glad you do let her to cry herself in your arms.

I know that it is irritating for you, but... instead of being critical, just talk to her, tell her, mildly, about your strategies of dealing with stress. Her situation may be either caused by sever trauma (too much stress as a child, and no way to handle it all effectively), or an overprotected childhood. I think if you get her to laugh at the things that stress her out, she will start to get a handle at it.

Also, possibly try to talk about it with the resident psychology help person. I know we had one at our college, and though I never needed to go there, it was nice to know there was professional help close by. And face-to-face communication is always so much better than typing and reading words of people who you don't know and most likely never will.

It's because she's a girl and we're guys. Guys have way higher stress tolerances...girls freak out way too easy. We don't feel the urge because we always got told to toughen up but women are pampered and always people feel bad when girls cry. They learn to use it to control too.

She's a girl mind you! Maybe she is naturally bad at handling mild stress. Well, you're her boyfriend so stay by her side and quit complaining!Teach her how to release stress...

Speaking candidly from a woman's point of view-
Bottom line? Your woman has a vagina.

THAT my friend, is exactly why she is acting this way.
If the poontang is worth it, then hang out.
If not, go find a less whiney vagina.
