When I get up in the morningI write about 3 pages of stuff thats on my mind. The stuff I write don't make too much sense sometimes but it is a great release. As a creative person I also sketch and doodle a lot. I meditate everyday as well and I also exercise in the morning it helps me clear my head and lighten my mood. Lastly I don't watch too much news on T.V. for obvious reasons. ;)

by making sure that I keep laughing, it really is the best medicine. I guess I should really meditate more but there's always other stuff you can do to maintain equilibrium - I have a 21m old son who makes me laugh every day and I am lucky - I have a roof over my head, food in my cupboard and hot and cold running water. I may be poor in monetary value, but I am rich in my heart.
It's all about how you look at things.

Pray to God to give you the kind of peace that only he alone can give. See very situation you face as a stepping stone to your next level and you don't need people with negative attitude around you.

Prayer
"Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be known to God; and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus."

prayer, spending time with my family, remembering that no matter what kind of crap i get from other people, others have had it FAR worse...i try to hold on to the 3 things that endure-faith, hope, and love. i saw a tee shirt once that said "2 rules-#1, don't sweat the small stuff, and #2, it's all small stuff"

Keeping my focus on Jesus - realizing it takes a lot of energy to not be at peace - and I don't have a lot of energy to spare!
