what muslims are doing is not Islam etc. etc.

I would like to know where is the so called True Islam followed. Can you tell me one single country since Islam was founded, where Islam is being/has been followed as it should be followed.

And if you cannot, then don't you agree that the so called "True Islam" does not exist.

Mustapha - I find your answer that true Islam exists in some pockets in the USA (the "Great Satan") to be the ultimate of ironies.
Another question- Will "True Islam" continue to exist in USA if the USA becomes a country with a muslim majority.

Islam is being followed as it should be in so many places in the world including my country ... the problem is it's being followed individually ...

No organization or institutes or governments are following it as it should be except some small institutes in my country ... but i don't know about other countries in the world ...

The real problem is Muslims are divided now ... not united as they were before ... they don't defend their rights ... they don't unite to show the real Islam to the whole world ...

There is no country today that follows Islam the way it should that I know of, but someone said Malaisia (sp?) is pretty close. Perhaps in the past there were some countries, but I don't know history all that well so I can't tell you which ones. I believe there were some though.

True Islam only exists in small pockets scattered around the world today. Some of the best examples of true Islamic living is in the USA. Here, people can live in peace and not be harrassed by the government. Even some so-called Islamic countries have a state-controlled Islam and if anyone deviates from it, they are harrased or thrown in jail. Islam truely is a peaceful religion, but it is not shown in the media as such. If you want to find peaceful Muslims, go meet some practising muslims in your neighborhood, town or city. They're probably pretty nice.

Islam does not claim to create a utopian society on this Earth. Although it does have a political and governing aspect to it, the emphesis is on self-purification from sin, recognizing and understanding the wisdom and oneness of God and preparing for the Day of Judgement and eternal life. Islam is in-fact the completion of the Judeo-Christian faiths which were never meant to be the finality of religion. Islam encompasses all of the faiths of the world, including Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Native American, Native African cultures, etc. All of God's prophets taught the same message: There is no god but One God. They all taught Islam as well, but not in it's modern form. Islam was perfected with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and is the only religion accepted by God anymore. It does not mean it is pleasing to mankind and their desires. It is pleasing to God and the Divine will. It also does not mean anyone who doesn't follow Islam will go to hell. God judges humanity individually, based on their heart. There are some Muslim who will go to hell and some who will go to paradise. Suicide is forbidden in Islam and a direct route to hell. How the suicide bombers have reasoned they will go to paradise is beyond the average Muslim's understanding and we reject that thinking 100%. We also belive there are many from other faiths who belive in One God who will go to paradise as well. The only unforgivable sin is to believe in no or multiple Gods. There is only One God. That is the essense of Islam.

Mohammad and Jesus existed like more than 1400 years ago...

Jesus' holy book, Bible, the word of God has been changed since Jesus’s gone... we know what Christians practice is not the real Christianity tht was practice by Jesus...

Mohammad’s holy book, Quran, the word of God was not changed...But, after Mohammad’s death, there were some people who changed the history of Islam....and they easily changed some rules...and they made assumptions... Mohammad had asked his follwer (when he was alive) to follow his grandchildren who were absolutely free of sin like him(caz just reading the Quran was too hard on people at that time to understand,tahts why Mohhamd wanted them to follow his grandchildren).... But Muslims at that time, didn’t follow what Mohammad said.....this went on and on to change some regulations of Islam.....

Until u see Islam as this nowdays...

But still, Islam is the religion, which is being practice much better than Christianity or Jews...since the holy book didn’t change at all...

Unfortunately, that is the primary problem we as a religious/spiritual people of ALL faiths suffer. There is no group or geographical cluster that could or should define a choice or behavior of individuals. All people of all faiths aren't practicing behaviors properly based on scriptures. There is a VERY thin line between Faith and Fanaticism. Each of us can think of some things we Should be doing as well as a few we should STOP doing. I urge you not to let the illicit, ignorant actions of the few define our approach to others. THAT would contradict the edicts of ALL RELIGIONS.
FYI: In my search through various religions, I was once warned not to take on the task of verifying anyone else's faith but my own. If I try to live by the rule of wanting better for my fellow man than I want even for myself, then I am fulfilling my SPIRITUAL obligation.

Just like most religions, Islam is interpretted by the membes and adapted to their needs. For a TRUE idea of what Islam is about, you need to search for the "Five Pillars of Islam" It describes what the actions of a true believe would be. I think you will find that they are not describing the , what was the word I heard the other day, "islama-facists"

There are over a billion Muslims - and they can't stop the violence ? If they go on like we see every day in TV pictures, western states may forbid such a religion ! It's the only religion who shows every day how PEACEFUL they are ! If a billion Muslims can't stop this - the rest of the world will do it ! Middle Age we passed 500 years ago !
