hi, till someone lives the position there are not any such issues as television licences then i do not get why you at the prompt are not believed. I stay in eire and an similar regulation applies and that is: any gadget which could settle for a television unmarried desires a licence. So even once you've a television sitting in a dresser not getting used, technically you nevertheless favor a licence. So figuring out to purchase a television card for a laptop instantly away makes your laptop a television and so desires a licence. I even ought to say inspite of the actuality that that television licencing interior the united kingdom is a lot fairer than in eire. a large style of the money from television licences is going into funding the BBC and kudos to them that they have got a coverage of no advertising. unlike, right here the position the nationwide station RTE receives money from television licences and yet also shows an similar ad ratio as say ITV/UTV. playstation Forgot about the cookie area to you question, which 86er lower than has suggested, those are used for having visited the area not the setting up of the cardboard. And in basic terms had a glance on the licencing website for the united kingdom: Do i favor a licence? you favor a television Licence to apply any television receiving equipment which includes a television set, set-good bins, video or DVD recorders, pcs or cell phones to show screen or record television programmes as they're being shown on television. thanks 86er for exhibiting me up ;) Thumbs up
