If you are close to a health food store, get some benonite or pascalite clay. Pack it on and it will help. I would also pick up some vitamin C and take as much as you can without causing diahrea.

Not really sure if you were bitten by a spider. 99% of the spiders in this world don't have fangs strong enough to break through tough human skin.

If you got bit by a Black Widow, you would know it, and ointment's not going to help.

If you got bit by a Brown Recluse (or Viloin Back), the poison will start eating away at your tissue, and you need to get it treated immediately with medicines (not ointment) or it will continue growing. Check the link below for a picture of an early stage Recluse bite.

Other than those two, chances are you didn't get bitten by a spider, but if you think you did, check for 2 tooth marks instead of one.

Good luck!

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF SPIDER IT IS. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN WHAT A BROWN RECLUSE CAN DO? THE EMERGENCY ROOM WILL SEND YOU A BILL.
