and it is so painful i cant really walk on it or wear shoes, but i have been using that plantar wart otc medicine and i also put duct tape on it, yesterday i took the duct tape off to wash my foot good so i can reapply the tape and i seen the wart was white looking and it looks puffy all around the wart, but looks like the black dots are disappearing, in the past i have had a callase grow on the top of the wart and the doctor had to cut the callase off, ok now my question is- how do i know it is time to trim the callase and i am scared that i will cut the wart, is there a certain way i should trim the callase? and is the puffiness around the wart normal after removing the tape? thank you for any help

I had one of those. Yes they do hurt and im pretty sure the puffiness and whiteness is probably it healing. Im not sure tho but tahts what happened when mine started to heal. and DO NOT USE DUCT TAPE the stickiness of the tape will get in it and get it all infected and such. Try a band-aid or something like that and it should help a little bit. Hope that helps.

You can buy medicine and remedies for this in any drug store or check with your doctor. Duct tape will not work.
