There are a few diseases over there. The biggest ones to worry about are Leishmaniasis and Malaria. (Both are spread by mosquito's.)

Other than these we are pretty safe as long as somebody does not do something stupid - like eat Iraqi food or drink Iraqi water.

I think the better question is...what are we going to do with the major outbreak of PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) which has become quite common in our soldiers in the current Iraq war. With multiple deployments, and non-stop deadly aggression by the insurgents, our soldiers are paying a heavy price to protect our interests. Maybe media outlets could talk more about that, instead of the lame liberal nonsense they normally do.

I'm ashamed of the media and the Americans that seem to have forgotten what this country was founded on. I am ashamed that they have such HIGH regard for their freedom of speech, but show signs of alzheimers when you try to remind them why they have that freedom. We obviously need to fix the education system...too many illiterate individuals have graduated and that is a problem.

no longer some thing for a broke leg. there became a guy that attempted to get a pink heart for spraining his ankle in the time of a mortar attack at LSA Anaconda. contained in the accurate he did not get one yet did get an entire lotta grief over it.
