That just depends, what would happen with your family? Usually I say follow your heart, but if it would only be if you are of age, and living outside your parents house. Then break it to them gently. You may not like what the response, but if you are mature, and have pr oven it, then your family should respect your decisions.

Only if they are ignorant like the said parents. If the parents cannot see outside that grey area, the son/daughter needs to get away from that. If the parents are good parents they will eventualy see the error of their ways and exept the fact that their child is in love

If she is an adult, she should follow her heart and not accept the prejudice of her family in making her dating decisions. If she's a minor living in her parent's home, she is bound to the rules of the house, but not to the prejudice.

You have to do what makes YOU happy!! Is your family paying ALL your bills? Are they providing ALL the money you want for you entertainment/pleasure/desires? They probably aren't, so what gives them the right to set the course for YOUR life? Plus if you go by their wishes, and ignore your own wishes...you will end up resenting them and living a life of REGRET!

Is your friend a strong person? Will she stand up for him ...back him up whenever someone in her family makes a bad remark in his presence/absence? If all she can do is spread her legs...(sorry)...then she shouldn't go out with that guy....it takes guts to go against ones family...because if she is only attracted to him physically...and then let's him down when he needs her in a conflict situation with her family...then he will eventually turn away, ... and then her family will tell her that they told her so...blablablablabla....Are you getting what I'm saying? I hope so.

Just for dating, she need not leave her family.
If you are ready to marry her, then she automatically, follows you.
This is the difference between a short time dating and long time relationship.

if she's truly in love with him than the color of your skin shouldn't matter.........although i've never dated outside my race but that doesn't matter what matters is how u feel about each other if he treats you with respect and is considerate of your feelings then i say go for it.
